to kneel here

to kneel here
i am nameless
care less than the deer
where i find pleasure

Carpe Diem

“There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
there is rapture in the lonely shore, there
is society where none intrudes, by the deep
sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the
less, but Nature more.”

Lord Byron

  1. I keep reading the first three lines again and again – looking to pin down a meaning and then… simply not bothering, getting lost in the imagery and music of the words πŸ™‚
It takes me all the way back to when I first found BIOLI and was so drawn in by so many of the posts.

(and I hardly even noticed the ‘erotica’ tag… lol)

    1. This is another tanka that might perhaps have been just as good as a haiku πŸ™‚
And what a wonderful comment … I’ve always hoped the words would be musical and flow well … sound and meaning. πŸ™‚

Looking forward to some more “air time”…. heh heh
