“But one afternoon, when I was half asleep, and was being fanned by two of her maids, I heard one say to the other, “What a pity it is that our mistress no longer loves our master! I believe she would like to kill him if she could, for she is an enchantress.”

I’m just warning you ahead of time

    1. It occurs to me that we rarely have both sides of the story in 1001 Nights. Of course Scheherazade could not provide both sides — as she was attempting to please a royal fuckface.

Honestly, I’m struggling with this series…. some of the topics are raw and will be for years.

  1. You’re clearly purging some roiling emotions (past? present? ever since and always after…) with these. Hurt and anger exact a heavy toll; I hope these snippets are relieving you of some of that burden. ❤

Sending positive thoughts your way. xo

      Otherwise it will kill me.

      I owe you an email.
